{"id":2787,"date":"2023-01-29T01:05:09","date_gmt":"2023-01-28T17:05:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ecology.shanghai-visual.org\/web\/?p=2787"},"modified":"2023-01-29T01:06:47","modified_gmt":"2023-01-28T17:06:47","slug":"ecology-and-design-dataset","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ecology.shanghai-visual.org\/web\/ecology-and-design-dataset\/","title":{"rendered":"Ecology and Design Dataset"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">This platform, accessible at <a href=\"https:\/\/ecologydesignlab.org\/dataset\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/ecologydesignlab.org\/dataset\/\">ecologydesignlab.org\/dataset<\/a> is a research outcome of the <a href=\"https:\/\/ecology.shanghai-visual.org\/web\/nsfc-citizenscience\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/ecology.shanghai-visual.org\/web\/nsfc-citizenscience\/\">NSFC project<\/a> about Citizen Science and ecological literacy in Chinese cities.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>It collects projects and cases that address nature-related topics and challenges, aiming to explore how design and technology are supporting ecological restoration and integration in a variety of applications.&nbsp;<br>The platform provides a reference to ecology-relevant projects that can inspire both planners and citizens in how technological advancement can be supportive of new models of urban-nature integration.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can navigate the dataset by different \u201ctechnology\u201d and \u201cnature\u201d keywords, which offers a more specific outlook on how the cases have been classified.&nbsp;<br>The platform is currently at its 1.0 release, and we expect to introduce more visualisation and UI details in version 2.0 by summer 2023.
